• The dark, gritty lighting in the show and the desaturated colour palette it uses is typical in the style of the zombie genre
• The equilibrium is disturbed at the start when the bus suddenly drives off the side of the road and Camille is seen walking away from the accident back home 
• The show is set in the French alps which is fairly isolated 
• A mist is present in the show as well which creates suspense as the idea of the unknown lurking within in it presents a certain danger
