Van zoonen argues that men and women are encoded differently through media language, and this reinforces patriarchal hegemoney. There are a number of highly sexualised representations of women in this video, especially the representation of the sex worker, who appear in revealing linegere, and is clearly hegemonically sexually attractive. She forms a biary opposition with the main female performer who while she is also clearly yattrative is not coded as hegemonically attractive. Throughout the video she pulls exaggerated faces making foolish gestures and dances, and the fact the model is sloghtly larger than the other women in this video. The representation reinforces ideology that in order to be succesful, women must be in rigid and specific gender stereotype or simply be funny while not sexually attractive

Close up higj pov shot of dancing is a binary opposition between childish innocence and adult sexuality. This constructs a stereotype of eastern europe as being a lawless, and chaotic place.

MS of dancer pouring vodka into his mouth which is symbolic of a stereotypical idea of eastern europeans reinforcing the idea that they are big drinkers and also diinish issues surrounding alcholism

mise en scene of police uniforms connotes that there is a lot of crime in that country and disorder
